Aggi Dix's "Simmer", a Danish treat on a Ghanaian beach
From an old and elegant jew's harp in a thick Danish forest, to a sweetness taking the sun on a Ghanaian beach, there is only one step to make, or rather only one turn of record to make, that of the last EP simmered by the very young and very fresh Danish singer AGGi DiX, the nicely named Simmer!
On this little EP bathed in sunshine and nu-soul, and which comes with a pretty visual made between two epidemic waves, and especially between Denmark and Ghana, we discover all the talent of this voice that crunches with softness, like a foot sinking in the snow, or rather in warm sand, We fly along with keyboards and ethereal synths, we get sucked into the siphon of a groovy bathtub, to roll on the shore of a distant beach, we snuggle up in fleshy bass as if in the arms of a woman, in the arms of AGGi DiX... yes, all this in a six track EP, not bad at all!
So don't hesitate any longer, and go and give an ear to this very fresh and sweet little EP, this Simmer by AGGi Dix, a singer who is likely to make a mark on the contemporary soul landscape... let's hope so!
