Robert Ngare is a graphic artist and illustrator from Kenya.

” One of my earliest memories of my first encounter of Graphic Design was when I was around 8 years old in Kenya. I enjoyed going to the cinema with my friends and I recall my fascination with the film posters on display. I would be compelled to watch something with a visually arresting poster. Around that time I came across a poster for Psycho and later Spartacus which I found out later in my adult life were designed by renowned graphic designer Saul Bass. The bold colours and simplicity but yet effective design was very different from most of the other posters on display and those two posters made an immediate impact on me. This changed my perception and understanding of poster design and design in general.”
