Fally Ipupa Gives his "Tokooos II" Album some Bonus tracks
The great Congolese singer Fally Ipupa is back, and he's doing something new with the old or the old with the new... in any case, he decided to re-release his previous album, the very good Tokooos II in a bonus version, that is to say with some new tracks... but since the original album was already long, it's not one or two extra songs that the king of rumba has added to his record, no, but no less than six new songs!
Alongside the 16 tracks on the album released last year, which successfully combines the softness of Congolese rumba with more urban sounds and, it has to be said, is also intended to appeal to the Western market, there are six new songs, some of which have already been released as singles in recent months. Thus, alongside songs such as "Jolie", "Fais ta Vie", or "Oublier", we see familiar names reappear, like the titles "Message" and "Ca Bouge Pas". So new with old, but it doesn't really matter, because as always, it's a pleasure to fall back into Fally's sonic honey. And if you haven't had the time to check out the second volume of Tokoos, now is the time, because the Congolese Eagle continues his flight!
