Kasified Clothing – The necessary streetwear label shifting culture

April 23, 2018 | By Owethu Makhathini

Kasified Clothing was birthed in Soweto with a dream to be a big name in the fashion industry, and its manifesting exactly that as it claims its position in the industry.

Founded by Afrika Mabena, Kasified Clothing has grown in leaps and bounds since arriving on the scene a few years ago, and even recently showing at SA Fashion Week 2018. “Anyone can tell a story through fashion, or their outfit for that matter but is the story relevant enough to embrace our culture as Africans,” asks Afrika about the brand that aims to be focused both on traditional and street wear.

Kasified Clothing’s concepts are inspired by African elements from culture to religion, to arts and craft and also music. The streetwear is highly durable and will keep up with the urban demands of the urban streets. While the fits are minimalist and tailored.
