New Online Series, 'Yelo Pèppè' Celebrates Contemporary African Cuisine

In this day and age, where everyone is extra conscious about what goes into their bodies, MAGGI has found a way to insert themselves in the conversation with their new online series, Yelo Pèppè, which aims to educate people about nutrition without being preachy.

In this weekly series, the storyline highlights the numerous challenges that modern African women face when trying to balance providing nutritious and healthy food for their family, with all the other demands of living a modern life. One thing that stuck out to us was the denigration of a career in nutrition and food blogging, which is typical of any African parent, and we're happy they also touched on this.

Starring Lola Awofiyebi, Ade Laoye, and more, the series is in two parts: French and English, to appeal to the Francophone African countries. The series follows the intrigue, drama and passion in the lives of five women navigating life as it has to do with their career choices, feeding their families and also interpersonal relationships.
